F-7¢ņis an aircraft developed from the F-7I. The maiden flight was on December 30,1978. Primary modifications included: self-designed ejection seats and equipment instead of those formerly designed by Russia, a backward opening canopy with fixed front windproof windows , and a modified Pen-7engine which solved the problem of hight temperature in the rear fuselage. The landing parachute is located at the end of vertical tail with enlarged fuel tanks to expand the battle range. |
